Well I've got partial power here, off Kirby and US 59. Three meters to the building, one up, one down, and one brown. Will be rotating the lights and fans and computer for awhile I guess. The Camaro is all good though. Managed to get it inside for the storm.WHewwwww. Now if I could just get enough water pressure for a shower.

Re: Downtown Houston.
Had no power since Friday. I did manage to get a generator but it broke after 4 hours ( rocker arm fell off on intake valve). Fixed it yesterday so have limited power from generator again. Water preassure good, I'm at work today as I'm on recovery team, although plant is like a ghost town.
Camaro made it through without a scratch. Had it parked under car port, did manage to loose the keys though so had to push it under before the storm.

Well, the water pressure came back up yesterday and the electricity came back on this afternoon. 9/18/08. Hope the rest of you guy's made it thru alright. And best of wishes to those who are still trudging thru. I hunkered down for IKE!

Yeah, the no shower thing really makes the weather that much more annoying doesn't it? Can't get in the pool (filled with black scum after the storm), can't shower, about the only thing I could do was get in the car and start it up with A/C.
