new

im new jst thought i'd let ya'll all know about me, I dont have a third gen i currently drive a 01 Olds Alero. But once upon a time my dad had a 92 Camaro Rs it was in great shape lived about 8 years. I'll back up a bit my dad was gunna put 150,000 miles on it thn throw a 350 in it and set it aside for me but he moved to Oklahoma and one day on the highway goin to work some jackass in a ford Ranger pull out in front of him dad hit the guys bumper goin 65ish he was goin around 70 he slammed the breaks but only had 100 ft of braking he threw up alot of smoke the tires locked up and everything. The impact shoved the motor into the cabin its a miracle my dad wasnt hurt what pisses me off is the ranger bumber was the only messed up. the guy even drove my dad home then insurence company totalled the car. gave my dad eight grand he put in another two grand and bought a 2500 chevy pick-up.
i'll try and find pics

So when you gonna sell that "Moped" for a real car *Cough Camaro or Bird* haha sorry!
I use to work for Oldsmobile, and the alero's always reminded me of Mopeds !

Re: new

There fun little cars Wasn't trying to diss ya man. Pretty slick looking. Never raced one, because they kinda fell off the earth, don't really see many Oldsmobiles' today. But im gonna have to argue on beating 305's :/ 140hp and 150torque is pretty weak, specialy for a 3000lb vehicle. 305's almost have your 140hp+150tq =290 in torque. and weight about 3300. Think id see those pretty headlights in the review
MOPED was the shop nick for them, was also a Cadallac dealership, so when driving a sts and then a alero, its almost a culture shock.

If you dont get one for graduation, they are easy to come by, and dont cost a lot, just keep your eye out for a steal, you will find one

for the alero or the Camaro
if alero its a automatic
if Camaro the car was totaled by insurence company so it belonged to them
