Another local group is Houston-F-Body, of which I am a member. Mostly use an e-mail list for communication. There is a link on Houston-f-body.org you can use to sign up.
It used to be a really big group but is down to about 60 members now.

It was 4th gen heavy (about 90% of the 400 members) and numbers started a steady decline after '02. Whats left is mostly the core people who all have known each other for 10+ years. About 1/2 still have f-bodies, most have fast cars of some sort.
I actually manage the web site and e-mail list now. But we are hoping to get more people in and we have been working on re-starting our old weekly meets, generally at a restaurant someplace on Thursday evenings.
