Need some help
I was wondering if anyone would mind sparing a few hours of their time and guide me in the right track to rebuilding my LB9 from my 91 Z. I realize I can search, and I have searched a few weeks back but all I've managed to accomplish was waste my time and realize how ignorant I am lol, so I stopped and re-focused on my rigorous school work. Now that my summer vacation has begun I'd really love to rebuild my engine and have it running perfectly by the end of the month, before I leave to Purdue U. in Indiana. Therefore I really need to get started on this as soon as possible. And if all goes well, I hope to attend the Thirdgen meet on July 25th when I return from Purdue!!
My current goal is to install a mild cam, 1.6 lifters and roller rockers, port the TPI, purchase aluminum heads from a Corvette, and if funds allow get a full exhaust with shorty headers.
I do realize the concept in building more power is not to throw random parts together, but more so find the combination that works, so if you guys(or girls) have any suggestions, they are very well appreciated.
Thanks,
- F. Luna
