I live in WA and have been looking for a CLEAN, low mile 90-92 z28.

Does anybody know of local service that can inspect a car for sale, or somebody with time that would be willing to look at a car in Cypress for a few bucks?

I'd hate to fly over there only to find out the guy decided to BS his ad.

Man that car looks almost exactly like lances car but he's down in league city... Odd that it looks like my 91 z28 except mines red... lol. It looks pretty good to me. how good of an inspection are you looking for... rust? .. engine? .. electrical? I don't mind checking it out for you I work on that side of town and its no problem...

Don't go out of your way for me just yet. I have the money, just need to line up the time and figure out the most efficient way to get a car back to WA (if I do buy out of state).

Buying out of state seems like such a hassle.

I spoke to the seller, his name is Gregg. He's going to be emailing me some more pics of the car.

So far all I know is that the car was re-painted a few years back due to peeling clear-coat.

 

Post up the pics here when you get them so we can um, evaluate your purchase decision.

When are you looking at buying? I found it best to not look for cars until you have the money in hand. You'll see things you want and get your hopes up, then get them dashed when someone else gets it because you can't afford it yet.

 

I have the money but am not in a rush. I made that mistake with my 78 camaro...

That's why the more I thought about it, the more I think I should wait for another good local deal.

There was a GM dealership selling a black 91 with 14k miles in showroom condition. They wanted $11,000 for the car, and I dragged my feet, since it was so much money. Car was sold the day after I decided I'd pay that much.

 

Well I found a car I really liked and drove 12 hours with a uhaul trailer and got it and all the extras it came with and drove it back.
Mine isn't in showroom condition but she is in pretty damn good shape for her age.

I drove all the way out to the other side of lake houston to get mine... It needs work here and there but over all not too bad.. Like I said I don't mind helping you out either so its whatever you want. Like I said before I work in Cypress...
