I e-signed, but this requirement has been fought many, many, many times & loses every single time.
I doubt that an e-petition will carry any more weight than the physical paper ones that have tried & failed.
Its all about revenue & it is one more way for the state to collect money.

I'm not in TexAss, but I signed. No front plate, no inspections or emissions are nice.
