Hi all. Just thought I would introduce myself. New to this board but no stranger to the Firebird. Had a 69 hard top way back in the late 70's, an 87 that was stolen in 92 and now I have another 87 that was my daughters old high school car.

She graduated college and now has a family of her own so I purchased the ol girl from her for a future project. A little gutless V-6 resides under the hood as of now but hopefully a donor will be in place in the future. She is not running at this time (bad fuel pump I believe) but since the weather is starting to cool a little in Houston that will be fixed soon. She is not a showroom car but she is not bad either. A few little parking lot dings but nothing severe. Time and money can cure alot of its woes....

Looking forward to gathering as much info as I can for projects and joining in on some of the festivities.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, hoping to get it running before too long and at least be able to drive it for a while before the engine swap in the future. I will try to keep up with the local events and join when I can.

Looks like a rainy saturday ahead so I will be in the garage tomorrow.
