Good shops in Houston?
Re: Good shops in Houston?
Here are a few options I am considering. I am open to suggestions.
A. heads/cam edelbrock base and runners, build drivetrain to support.
B. 383/MR good heads and maybe a zz409, Comp 280 xfi, or lt4 cam and drivetrain.
C. LS1/6/2 swap with A/C and power steering.

Re: Good shops in Houston?
first, I am assuming your car is an auto, and you want to stay that way?
second, as a third gen owner with a carbed project sitting in my garage and a master technician, please don't waste your money with old parts if you want reliability, ls or lq engine swap with trans is the way to go. I am captain hindsite about this, I went for a budget engine replacement and now, if I had just bought the swap, I would be on the road and reliable.
