update on the 158 HP

Well, I have fixed a few problems, Big one was the throttle position sensor. It was reading 0 at idle, and would read properly about midway through, and read 0 at WOT. That was really, really, really, really bad for performance, since it would ignore the TPS and try to adjust on MAF changes and O2 sensor changes. I replaced that tps for the second time in a year (@$35/sensor!) and it has really come back! The first time driving it w/ the new TPS w/ the pedal down ~the same amount, it was spinning tires and powersliding left and right. Today I even noticed the rear end was loose at the top end of second gear, and into the shift to 3rd. (It was not quite going in a straight line at the bottom of second, I was going onto the highway, so I wasn't about to let off so I held it all the way through second, with it wobbling the whole way!) So there is definatly more power. It is still hesitating though! All those who were out working w/ me and the vac leaks remember, you could pull the throttle up half way, and drop it back down in about a sec. That would cause a delayed maybe 500 rpm increase, with a hiss that sounded like a vac leak. Well, I checked O2 and it's lean, sometimes at idle, the car will stumble and nearly stall, then catch back up...setting the o2 lean code. I think my fuel filter may be the cause for this. Any input? I already bought a new fuel filter anyways But I think it is in the middle of the rear crossmember, and I have no jacks/jackstands to install it. Anyone want to help I really want to get this thing so it sets no codes, doesn't knock, and generally runs perfect...then take it back to the track and see what it pulls, and maybe back to fastech and see what it does.
Fortunatly by the sept gathering I shouldn't have the lowest power V-8 in the bunch lol! If I do, the motor will go in the trash...no rebuild, no selling it, I'll go get an AK-47 and shoot a few holes through it! (Who would want to buy a 158 HP gas guzzling v-8 anyways right!? )
