Will city pay for damages?

The city (Carrollton) has been doing construction on the road I live on...its a pretty busy street. They are widening the street, as well as repaving....they dug the ground down about 2 feet...so when going down my driveway, I would go nose first into the rocks they used to bridge the gap. Not only that...but there were HUGE bulges in the old road that would hit every single time....and they are unavoidable. I had my car on a lift to install SFCs...and noticed that my oil pan was dented pretty badly....and my front and side ground effects were scrapped badly and cracked...and the front bumper cover was also cracked. Now....can I hold the city responsible for these damages??? If so, what do I have to do?

Legaly, they are required to reemburse you for the Damages, however, It will be cheaper for them to say see you in court, and let their lawyers handle it. It will more than likely alos be cheaper for you to cover it out of pocket. Been there, done that
