Eagle/TRW Balanced Rotating assembly
355 Crank p/n 103503480 $50
5.7 Forged I beam p/n 5700BPLW with TRW pistons pressed on. Piston p/n L2256F30 $350
Pistons do not have rings. TRW calls for p/n E-251K030

Short block was on an engine stand and during transport, a sharp low speed turn sent the engine over the side(engine stand anchored to trailer). The crank snout ground on the pavement a bit as we pulled over, its not too bad though. You can see it in the pics. Pistons and rods were inside the block and sustained no damage.

Power Programmer Plus p/n 360202 with new 160 degree vortec engine thermostat. This is an early model of the power programmer 3 for 96-97 Chevy Full Size trucks. It does just about everything a PP3 does. Allows for Engine powertuning if you have 160 thermostat installed, tire size calibration, rear axle ratio calibration, top speed limiter, firmer transmission shifts. It is just an earlier version I bought back in 1996 for my 96’ full size. Sold the truck a decade ago, after I unprogrammed it. Chip has been sitting in my closet since then. $100
