Tx:Holley 650 spreadbore for sale or trade SOLD

I have a rebuilt 650 Holley spreadbore for sale or trade. 100 dollars plus shipping or straight trade for a Q Jet that has to be a running carb rebuilt would be nice or a good rebuildable 600 holley w/electric choke. The 650 holley is just to much carb for my Z28 right now. So as you can guess it ran way to rich so I took it iff and here it is. It has the electric choke and has been completely gone thru all new gaskets and seals everything and it has the power valve anti blow upgrade.
I am in north texas in carrollton just north of dallas. Shipping is going to be high because this thing is heavy so it might be better to pick up but I will ship it. I can get a price if you give me your zip code.

You don't need a different carb, you just need to re-jet (tune) it.. Going down 50 CFM isn't going to fix anything. & Q-jets are actually bigger than that anyway.

It's my fault for not being clear about this carb. When I rebuilt it, it had a plug were the power valve is, assuning that the PO knew what he was doing he would lower the jet size (in some cases 10 sizes to compensate) like you should when that is done ( I wouldnt think they would go up in size). I will admit I didnt look at the jet size during the rebuild. Still it was dumping fuel into the engine, yes I re-checked the floats they are set perfect (side hung), however, the center squirters may be to big, I am guessing that the PO had used it as a racing carb and may have put larger squiters on it. And as I understand a QJet does flow different than the holley SB. Metering rods, ect... So there is a difference.
It would idle to high when I set it right on the intake and when I put adapter on it, it wouldnt run because it was flowing to much fuel into the engine I dont want to deal with it anymore. Thats why I want to sell it or trade it for a QJet. I think 100 dollars is a damn good deal when you look at what holley wants for them (up to 400 dollars) and summit and Jegs isnt any better.

Re: Tx:Holley 650 spreadbore for sale or trade

I have an Edlebrock Performer 650 with electric choke. I am looking for a Holley since I heard they are easier to tune. How much for shipping to 70458?

Thanks
