Hello
Hello
Hi,
I just got my 2nd 3rd gen, the first one was a beat to death 87 T/A about 10 years ago, I traded my 58 CJ5 for it and it was just about falling apart. I got rid of it rather quickly.
On Sunday I was in FL visiting my dad and we went hunting around for either a 3rd gen Camaro or T/A in the $3500 range, I was totally disgusted with the condition of most of the cars we went to look at, they were totally beat up and generally treated like ****. Anyways, in a final effort we went and looked at one about 5 minutes from his house. Turned out to be the diamond we had been looking for all day.
It's an 88, T/A, Auto,t-tops, Flowmaster, chip, TBI, Blue Met. With silver ground effects, the guy had some subs in the rear that he said were some cheap ones he had picked up. I looked at them and was very pleased, they're JBL 1000watt 10"s, he had a old *** Craig 120w Amp hooked to them, I put in my 400w amp and now, it sounds real nice.
It has been repainted and has some filler in it but it looks great and I don't think it was hit real hard or anything.
And we hit a wicked rain storm on the way up from FL and the tops didn't leak !!!
Of course the guy had just put new seals in the tops too.
I'm going to try to attach a pic from the autotrader ad here, I left my digital camera in the back of dad's Corvette and I'm waiting for him to mail it back to take some better pics.
Later,
Jeff

Good find and welcome to the site. I can say first hand that most of the 3rd gens I've seen since I've been in FL that you're correct, most of them look like azz. My buddy Roshambo had a car that looked just like that one and it's truely a sweet color combination.
