the GTA on the dyno at Hypertech

Spent all day last Saturday out at Hypertech here in Memphis, TN for a dyno day with the West Tennessee F-Body Association.

And here is one of the many cars owned by Mark Heffington, owner of Hypertech....which I was treated to a joyride in since I helped come up with this crazy event....2003 Corvette z06 complete with Lingenfelter's twin-turbo package:

:hail: :hail:

and for anyone wondering, I dyno'd 200 HP and 351 TQ @ 3000 RPM. Torque curve? I don't need no stinkin' torque curve

I don't remember exactly what the 'Vette dynoed, but it was in the 650 HP range...only change that had been made since the car came back from Lingenfelter was adding 1 lb of boost.

We'll be headed up there again in August for the NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway deal, it'd be cool to hook up with you guys again!

I'm totally stock except for an open element air filter, I peaked at 3,000 RPM (200.5 HP, 351 TQ). My only guess as to why the TQ is abnormally high is because (I think) it was right on the 1-2 shift, and they didn't have a way to keep the tranny in second like they did when they dyno'd the 4th gens. I'll try to get my dyno sheet scanned, but the graph has no curve to it...it peaks, then falls drastically.

Then again, I'm typing this after just returning from a road trip and I'm dead tired, so I may look at this tomorrow and go, "WTF was I thinking when I said that?"

i forget that the 91's came stock with about 240hp so that sounds about right.

my 89 was rated at around only 225.
i'd like to dyno it and see if it's depreciated or gained, hopefully sometime soon!
