Help

Im new to the muscle car scene and i have a 87 Z28 camaro, 305 4bbl edlebrock carb as well as manifold, and headers. every where i turn i get that the 305 is no good. what is the max hp i could get from it, and what mods would i have to make? or would it just be cheaper to swap to a 350? Also is there any car clubs in this area?

Ah the age old question. Generally, you're doing great if you can get 1 horsepower per cubic inch. The obvious leap from there is more cubes = more power. You can get reasonable power from a 305, but the big argument is that the parts are almost identical, the cost is the same, 350 blocks are a dime a dozen, why NOT just put in the 350?
