i was over buy the mall today and i think that may be a bit crazy with all the race stuff going on... so i was thinking maybe meet up at sams club on beville right next door to walmart. sams has a big parking lot too so may be out there instead of the mall. in the sams lot on the side farthest from walmart not too many people crowd sams. still around 4 thou. sound good too you?

yeah we showed up but noone else seems to own a 3rd gen in volusia county. i mean my car isnt even a looker in comparison to ewweww's iroc. but mine is a work in progress. that is one sweet ride you got there brother. maybe next time someone else will want to show up in their car. only time will tell. later on

well we plan on doing this again. so hopefully you will be able to make it. i want to get my car painted for next time so that ewwewwnotme's iroc doesnt steal the show. he has the cleanest third gen i have seen in person. i dont know yet when we will do this again but i may start a new thread then. i defininately look forward to seeing some of the other third gens that are around. until next time. later.

I dont know who knows about the car show at the Harley Shop in Ormond Beach they have every 3rd saturday of the month. If anyone wants to stop by Ill be there. It starts at about 5 but cars roll in before. It is a Hot Rod show so no puddle jumpers will be there.

 

i got some work to do before i go doing all that. got to pretty up the engine bay a bit. i need to repaint my valve covers but i dont know what color any ideas?

well location is probably negotiable and weekends are usually better. but we havent set a second meet yet. i know i am fixing to get my car painted so i am out for a little bit. i guess we all need to decide on another gathering of the tgo fbodies huh?

tell you what though i would love to see that 383 under the hood. looks like you got a race car right there.

 

For your valve colors maybe go for whatever color you are doing the car or go for a neutral color like a sliver metallic maybe.

 

I say we set it for a Saturday or Sunday every month. I tend to like the third weekend of the month, but I have no reason why. I also think keeping the meet at the same place is best for attendance. Honda Tech meets every Thursday in the K-Mart parking lot. At least they did. It was always a high attendance meet because it was consistant.

I say pick a location and day, then stick with it and keep it consistant.

 

Only problem I would have with a weekend meet is once a month I go to my base for a weekend. But I agree with you Vanilla

On a side note I had a white rs with black strips roll up on me on clyde morris coming home from school. when he finally got beside me he guned it and since i was already over the speed limit I let him go but it was funny watching him. he would have been embarrased if I had hit the gas.

hey willie long time no see. what are your thoughts on the next time we have a meet? just give me time to get the t/a painted. and to ewwewwnotme... with thoughs headers of yours i think he would have ducked his he at the next light so you couldnt see him. and nice move letting him go cause that is why we love our rides... we pick and choose and dont get that ticket in doing so. on location the sams lot worked good cause there is a lot of parking available.

 

Yea embarrasing an RS isnt worth a ticket lol. But yea the location was good except no one could see us from the road which could have given other thirdgen owners happening to be riding by a chance to maybe swing in. Willie if you want stop by the harley shop saturday at around 5. Ill be there and you can check out the car. anyone else want to stop in too can.

I cant get close enough to stop and ask thrigens about tgo. they always seem to be going in the opposite direction lol. I think you can kind of see the cars in walmart parking lot. Ill check tomorrow when I go by.

The only problems I have with weekends is my drill once a month which varries every month. Usually lies on 2nd and 3rd weekend. You can still hang out anyways impaler. Hopefully if there are a few of us sitting somewhere others will see and join. I cant stop seeing 3rd gens driving around everywhere.

Sunday depends on house cleaning. I have family coming in, and I have to have the house clean to their liking.

I'm living here for practically free ($100 a month rent for a 4 bedroom house). That's why I have to clean up. My family is used to leaving the house clean, and coming back to the same clean house because no one lived here.

And the Camaro is technically my fiance's, but it's a 92 RS, automatic. kind of beat up, nothing special, all stock, and doesn't always run right. I'm just in this to learn right now.

Personally, I have a beat-up 89 Honda Accord and a 1992 Nissan Hardbody, sans the bed. I'll get the Camaro when we buy My fiance something more suitable for her.

 

Sunday sounds good to me. I got my car painted up in virginia before I moved down here. Yesterday my car was messed up. It was leaking oil like crazy and I didnt find out until my way to school when the oil pressure was all over the place. Checked oil before I left from school and nothing was on the stick. I drove it home anyways cause Im not leaving it somewhere. But found out it was coming out from the cut off for when oil gets low it kills the gas pump. The switch is above the oil filter (where I thought the oil was leaking from due to it was covered in the stuff) It only leaked when I drove so I never saw any major oil puddles under the car. But found out my car can run on a quart of oil. Go chevy motors!

 

did ya get that fixed? doesn't sound right on car w/ so little miles org. how would this happen? thankfully never had oil leak from any gm car i owned. even had 200,000 mile s-10, no leaks all org. except waterpump. sunday where Walmart?

 

Yea we fixed it once I got home. The switch somehow got a hole in it and while the engine was on the oil pressure just pushed it out the little hole. 8 dollar part and it was good to go. Yea I guess walmart unless anyone else has another place they wanna try.

been busy. just got to see what was going on. i'm out this weekend to can't do it. i love my ugly car willie, ask joe he'll tell ya. i am thinking about that canal street thing sometime. i am just to busy this weekend as i have been all week. bought a new office set that i had to put together over the course of 3 nights. had to go to the docs office where he told me to exercise and diet. lol and the rain today leaves me at the junkyard tomorrow. because my bro-in-law's b-day is tuesday and he needs another seat for his 02 musta.... i dare not finish the name. but i am going to scour the yard for more stuff for my car as well. then hopefully try and fix my power locks. but dont worry i'll be around for the next one. like i told joe. i have a work in progress. and willie what kind of seats you got in yours because i have a 4th gen set i am looking to get rid of... the driver seat has a rip that needs sewing. but other than that. if anyone needs me to scout anything at the yard for other projects let me know i go out to the u pull it all the time.

i'll see how day turns out, yesterday drove to DB twice for parts for my dryer. went to sears parts depot of bill france. 2nd time leaving DB a 07-08 4 door silverado wanted to race. well ground was wet, spun 3rd gear, but still grabbed leaving him why do people always wanna race me? never lost to a truck yet. sky, pull your ***** out of your chicks purse. i have never been to baby shower! not a guy thing.

 

i adjusted the schedule so i am in and bringing the wife. i just put the "tink tinks" in her purse so at least i'll bring them with me... lol. and willie i think it depends on the truck cause i got my walnuts handed to me by a f-150 lightning once. thoughs things hauls *****!
