New to the Triangle(NC)
Hey everyone,
I recently moved to NC (Chapel Hill) for school and was wondering if anyone was nearby? I'm also looking for recommendations for good body and performance shops around here? Thanks.

Not to sure of Chapel Hill, but there is a bunch of knowledge around the Charlotte area..... depending on what you are wanting to do I would call Zeus Performance.... as far as a good body shop, good luck, and if you find one let me know.

I looked up Zeus Performance...they seem good I'll have to give them a call. I know FBody Motorsports is supposed to be near Charlotte, has anyone gone to them since they were supposed to be under new management or something?

The Triad F body club is around the Greensboro area. We used to be pretty active, but due to some drama, it's pretty much just a message forum now. Still lots of great people and knowledge.
Carolina F body club is closer to you in Chapel Hill. They're mostly in Raleigh and the surrounding area.
Blazin' High Performance and RPM are both closer to you. BHP is in Durham and RPM is in Garner. BHP is a sponsor of Carolina F Body, and a lot of those guys also have good things to say about RPM as well. I know people at both, and they're all good guys.

Yeah if BHP is in Durham they're basically next door. I'm planning on building up the car slowly and want some good professional opinions to help guide me along. I want to start off getting to handle well, then body work, then drive train in the future.

I know that one of the guys that used to work at F-body motorsports is the lead guy @Zeus performance. He is the one with the 4th gen firebird with an independent rear suspension! As far as F-body motorsports goes( Youngs F-body) I have heard alot of complaints on here just in the past couple of months. I may have to check them out while in Charlotte tomorrow!
