Tenn Tuck Bracket Bash VS Mopar Southern Classic
So I have a severe delimma. I'm coming home for the first time in over a year from Cali to C-ville Ky and there are two major races going on at two tracks. First is the Tenn Tuck Bracket Bash at Beech Bend Raceway in bowling Green, Ky. They are running five $10000 to win 1/8 mile drag races in one weekend. But the fields will be huge. Something like 8-9 rounds to get to the finals. They start paying at 40th place on.
If I go to that I'll run my 91 Camaro. It is a good bracket car. It generally runs within a few hundredths every pass.
On the other hand is the Mopar Southern Classic in Clay City.
Since the big money races will be going on in Bowling Green, there will be less competition at Clay City.
So I could run my 09 Challenger R/T in Modified or Super Stock. The downfall to that is the Challenger is untested. The only testing I've done with the car is on the dyno.
If anybody has raced at either of these events, give me a little info.
