Window Tint help - NC
Hey - my wife and I are moving from NY to NC soon hopefully, and i read that i need to have a tint check with a NC inspection. My sides are ~35 and from what i gather should pass, but my rear is 5%. Any thoughts on how to pass inspection w/out removing it? Anyone know someone in the Charlotte area that'll look the other way? PM me please! I love my car the way it is..don't wanna change for tint laws (both sides are currently illegal in NY - but we don't require it checked for inspection. I just plan to pay a ticket at least once per season.

In NC there is no law against your back window. It could be %0 for whatever you wish. Just the sides and your sides are legal.

Trucks and SUV's can have blacked out rear windows but cars can't. All car windows must be above 35%. It doesn't make any sense but no tint laws do make sense so we just gotta deal with it.
