Hey all,

I live in Mesa AZ and have searched all local junkyards in my area looking for a dashpad and other odd's/ends parts for my interior but no luck,

Everything I find has been eaten by the sun.

Does anyone know of any good upholstery shops in AZ that charge a fair price or do I have to buy everything from Ebay?

You can call Tucson Seat Cover Co at 520-745-1141. They are by far the cheapest I have found in Tucson and they do good work. Said that they would do my headliner, sail panels and sun visors for 100.00 including material. The next closest I found was 445.00. A big difference. Should be taking my stuff there next week or so. I know some people who go there and love the work they do. Give them a call and see what they can do for you. Thomas

 

Thomas, does that include the backing panel? My headliner is currently held up with about 7 sticks of hot glue. It's holding it up very well, but it looks like someone got excited with some mayo packets in the car with all the white stripes.

 

Mayo packs?!?!?!?! Yeah, right. We all know what it is!!!! LMAO! j/k No, I am going to supply all the boards. Mine are still in really good condition. I just removed it and took off all the old backing. But still 100.00 is a good price to have all that work done to include material. He is even getting me the Med. Beechwood color that came with the car. Said it would take about 2 days to get here. He would even sell me the material at 12.00 a yard if I wanted to do it myself, but T-tops can be tricky. Tom P.S. when are we getting together again? I am going to ******* house tonight or tomorrow. Chris still tells me that he wants a rematch against you!!

 

I was trying to keep this a family show.

I think I'll just get the fiberglass replacement. I think it's 150-200$ and it'll never separate again. And my interior is black, not too hard to match.

Chris can want for awhile. I only gained 2 tenths with the new exhaust, and his gf's car is about 7 tenths faster. So he'll have to wait until the new engine is done. Come back in November.
