and I throw a couple revs at it, and he wouldn't race! Of course, it was parked... didn't have the body on... the driver was in our shop eating a cheeseburger... it had no fuel in it... etc...

I particularly like the message on the tire.
This is Terry Haddock's NHRA top fuel funny car. It was in our shop to have some brackets made, a belly pan fabbed, and a frame to mount the body onto made. I have more pictures if anyone wants to see more parts of the car.
Sitting in the car, it's a little unnerving having a driveshaft 3 inches from your crotch, carrying 6000 horsepower. (If I was actually driving.)

Gosh, I'ld hate to close this for lack of 3rdgen technical content...I laughed my *** off though! That thing looks sweet!
So to validate this thread, and on a common note, anyone ever use a heli coil in a tranny? One of my tranny mount bolts pulled the threads completely out. I can't stand the clunking, which sounds like its coming 3 inches from my groin hooked to 205 hp., and I'm not sure if I could re-thread/tap the aluminum. Any suggestions?
