Hey guys, I know I'm not an F-body owner but my cuz now is. He just got a 94 6spd Formula (not a 3rd gen, but still awesome) w/ KN filtercharger, cutout, and Ultraflow muff. Anyway he got it last weekend and last night was his first time to a track ever! His first run was 16.7 w/ a 2.6 60ft. He got his next down to a 16.0 or so. He let me drive it and I got 2 14.0's with 2.4 and 2.3 60 ft. I showed him what he was doing wrong and the next run he gets a 14.6. He tried it once more and nailed a 13.7 with a 2.0 60 ft!!! I was like holy**** newbie. The best I can muster is a 2.1 60ft and thats with 12 or 13 runs under my belt. Anyway that's all there is to my story.

Btw, did you guys get the pun in the title?

second, 13.7 is damned good in an lt1 thats almost stock

 

All in the family, LT1 isn't a 3rd gen, but still in the Firebird family tree,
And the owner being my cousin, therefore, family member. And my GTP is a Pontiac as well, so it's automatically in the Pontiac family. <-- Ok, that's stretching my pun pretty far

bigwhite-were you at firebird the last couple weeks? the past 2 weeks I have seeen a white gtp that sounds like yours at the track in the staging lanes..jw if that was you.

 

Probably not. I went last week however but I didn't race. It sat down there across from the other GTP's. My brother who also has a white GTP (2 door though) might be the one your thinking of. He ran a 13.9 with only half the mods I have. He's been there for the last few fridays. As soon as I get my motor mounts fixed I will race it.
I have the loudest GTP in the PHX!! Flowmaster 40's baby!! So it's hard to miss.

Also, there is another GP that's there alot, but he is only a Grand Prix GT. He has red stripes and 18's.
