I Need Help!!!!

Hello everyone,
I am in need of some serious help!!!
I have a 92 Rs Camaro and it is almost all stock with the exception of some interior mods.
I installed a DVD player a Tv and also a new stereo and subwoofers.

I am now looking to start on the exterior and engine.
I am in Scottsdale AZ and was wondering if there where any thirdgen clubs here?

I have no idea where to start but I am currently working with limited funds so nothing too costly to start.

I am looking for a good shop that can give me a good deal on a paint job because the damn paint is starting to peel on the hood.
I want to replace the hood with a cowl induction hood (I have heard that this is strictly for appearance and adds no benefit)

I would like to keep it teal and am thinking of having black flames painted up the front. (not sure how good this will look)

If anyone has any information that might help me please let me know.
I might also need some help with it if anyone who knows what they are doing wants to help me out.

I will attach some pix of the car and some of the stuff I mentioned.

This is my Camaro.

If you see this around Scottsdale you will know it is me.

This is a custom sub enclosure that I built.

Here is the tv and stereo.

Here is the DVD player, It is mounted just under the dash on the passenger side.

Here is the speedometer with the chrome betzel and the custom white face that I made.

Here's what I would do If I had your car. Expensive yes, but it will look mighty fine!!!
First I would get some dual 3-4" cannon style exhaust tips. One on each side.
When I had my T/A Midas charged me $100 for tips and install.

2nd I'd paint the front grill glossy/shiney black, and paint the area around the headlights black. I'm sure you can get it done pretty cheap, maybe even do it yourself if your good at painting.

3rd, get the Camaro SS style hood painted with a silver or black stripe from the tip of the scoop to right above the license plate on the rear bumper.

Of course depending what tire size you have now I'd get, 255/5016's

That would be one sweet looking Camaro RS!!!

What engine do you have? Did 91-92 RS' all have the TBI 305? Just get your basic mods, H.O. Intake and hi-flow filter, headers and muffler. Maybe even 3.23 gears or bigger.

Again, that's what I would do. But that's cool you have 16 inch wheels, 15's suck!!

Well I already have the subs and all the audio equiptment I need I am just looking into the motor.
I had a bit of bad luck that is actually good yesterday.
I went to the emissions testing center and they could not test me car because they found a crack all the way around my exhaust pipe that conects to my muffler from the engine so needless to say I will be getting myself a new exhaust system tomorrow.

I am going for the magnaflo high performance muffler and I think I am going to get a new high performance catalitic converter while I am at it.

I will post some pix as soon as I get them.

Hey someone mentioned that they could paint,
I need a whole car paint job.
I am keeping the car teal and want to put black flames up the front of the car.

does anyone know the cost of this or know anyone who would do it for just the thrill of painting a thirdgen :-)

One last thing if anyone here is good with photoshop could you take my car pic or one of another thirdgen camaro and do a picture of a teal car with black flames and post it here Pleeeeeeese!!!!!

Hey CamaroStud1988,
What part of AZ do you live in?
And how long does it take to paint the car?
Do you have a booth to paint in?
I am also wondering if you can take that pic of your car and make it teal instead of yellow so I can get an idea of what it will look like, or if you have any other flame color that you might think looks good against the teal car do that too.

NEW EXHAUST A LITTLE EARLY

Well just thought I would put up some pix of the work in progress.
I mentioned that the emissions testers founf a hole in my exhaust so I had top replace the pipe before I could be tested.
Needless to say I put on a whole new exhaust system.

Here is a pic of the hole in the exhaust system.

Here is another angle of the break.

Here is a picture of the old exhaust while my car was up on the lift.

I ended up going with the Magnaflow high performance exhaust system which turned out to be a very good thing it looks great and sounds even better. (It has a great rumble, It added about 15 to 20 horsepower, and it certainly does not sound like a **** burner)

Here is the new exhaust fully installed but still up on the lift.

I added some chrome tips to give it a finished look and here is the final product.

As soon as I get a sound clip I will post it for everyone to hear.
Tell me what you think!!!

I just took mine off last weekend. I'm on the east coast. Did you try any junk yards?
