that's a 10-4 on the CAI. I went to Home Depot today and couldn't find anything but white plastic and the aluminum ones. I will have to check out what they have at Lowes.

i made my home made ram air setup out of aluminum dutcing and it worked great.

I ripped it out however because my car water pump was going out and i needed as much air as possible tokeep it cool until I got ot the store, I would have been more than happy togive you my setup, but I left it @ the exxon parking lot after i pulled it out ROFL.

I'm making mine out of plexi glass this time around.

tested out the "******* RamAir" this evening when the air temp dropped a bit. It seems to really made a difference once the engine reached operating temperature. The aluminum duct seemed to pick up some heat from the engine though. I might try some HVAC insulation on it and see if that helps. Perhaps, now, I'll get myself a pair of K&N's for my birthday if I can remember the part number. If I can't remember the numbers I'll have to go poking around on the crossfire forum.

on a side note... I murdered an RS on the 101. It could have been a V6 though
