Got my Demon under the Hood!

Finally got my car running right. Put a new mech. sec. 750cfm Speed Demon on yesterday, and that made all the difference in the world compared to the edelbrock. Between that, and getting the distributer to give some mechanical advance compared to none.(16* total timing doesn't make much power ) It feels like a low 13 second car now. So i should be heading to the track here soon for a little test and tune.(plugs black=carb rich=need to jet down) Either way I'm stoked!

If firebird is open next friday i'll probably head out there... Is anyone else going?

looks just like mine DEAD SEXY

what motor do you have and what cam and gears are you running. IF you are use to tuning holleys then you are going to pretty much do every thing the same except that you have to jet a demon a lil higher then a holley, don't know why. I have a 305 with a comp 262 cam 3.73 gears and I am running 72's in the front and 82's int the rear, oh yea mine is a 650 dp. the O2 gauge reads stoch to a lil lean and when i was running 70 and 78 wich is what came with from factory, the carb it would lean out really bad at topend

:hail: thats sharp man. I can't remember if I close this friday or not, if not I'll for sure be out there. I just replaced all my ignition components and my car feels like it just woke up. Wanna see if I can FINALLY beat my 15.3
