Just got back from Speedworld tonight. It was very busy. A lot of test and tunes were there. Several 4th gens and some imports along with me and my kid. Put some shortie headers on and a water pump at the last minute today and went down. Car ran a 14.2 last time we went and this time ran a 15.3. Dont know whats wrong, but will look at it tomorrow. Very disapointing runs to say the least. We were expecting 13.75-13.99. Best we could get was a 15.1.
Some cocky kid was there with his newly bought used honda and he went up against an LS1 firebird. The honda ran an 18... He was behind my kid in the staging lanes after his race and came over to say hi and told him that he couldnt believe he had lost to that red car (LS1). All this kid had was a big wing. Said his Dad was a former drag racer...
We could have showed up all the 4th gens tonight but just couldnt figure out what was wrong. It may be a bad plug wire or something got reconnected wrong. Either way, after launching it would bog down and buck for a sec and then take off. He had some awesome burnouts too. Finally getting to learn how to do them with his T-56 six speed.
Saw another thirdgen there racing in pro stock. Had stickers all over it. Didn't run well. Nice to see it there. Not many thirdgens show up at all when we go. A lot of waiting tonight because of Xmas tree problems. Only got 4 runs in and while we were waiting for the last run a guy blew his motor at the end of the track so we pulled out of line and went home. Enough abuse for one night.

The Enterprise is in the docking bay for a new chip. When I get it back and can put the ford 9" in as well she will head out on her maiden voyage to speedworld. Looking to run a low 12 or better.Originally posted by 85VortecTA

1000 dollars. It needs either a new ignition coil or module. Sometimes wont start. It needs a some tlc but the motor has less than 20k on the rebuild and the tranny is good. Needs to have timing checked. I can send pics if you want.Originally posted by 1989t-topGTA
