How difficult it will be will depend on what brand headers you bought. As for helping, I am too far away for that.

well, originally i was buying a used pair of Edelbrock TES headers, but after seeing them and talking to the guy im abit hesitant, and i might go ahead and order Flowtech headers off summit.. how much of a differnce will the 1 1/2 primaries compared to the 1 5/7 primary headers?

no difference at all with a 305

when you put the driver's side on you'll have to unbolt the driver's side engine mount and jack up the engine slightly to get the header to go on.

the lift won't help much until you get ready to connect it to the rest of your exhaust system as most of the work will be done from up top anyway

get coated headers or some header wrap to help curb underhood temperatures. LO3's don't like hot air.

if you have a decent jack and some tall jackstands then you won't need the lift for the install...

if we need it for like an hour to weld up the exhaust how are they charging you to use the lift?

I tried calling but I didn't get an answer.

Wednesday is all booked up for me except late that evening.
Thursday morning might give me some time if I finish Wednesday's project.
Friday afternoon is all open. Until I go to the races that is.

The bottom line is if you want to pull a late night on Wednesday we can do it. Let me know.

Too bad you didn't get back to me about my 1 5/8 TES headers. You could have seen them on my motor and probably saved yourself money in the long run...

Good luck with the flowtechs.
