anyone have one in phoenix area? cant drive my camaro until i get one. if i could get the latching assembly i could get the rest from ummagumma's car. thanks for any help..

i know someone will post it and i cant go to the junk yard. When i have time off i have my daughter and i cant take a 1 1/2 yr old to the junk yard..

the part that is on the car.. i have the mount i just dont have the part the holds the hood down. i also need the part the pulls it open but i am sure i can go get that from ummagumma's car

I had to replace mine less than 4 months ago, got mine brand new from the dealership for $30 bucks....might be a little more than it's worth but the thing works FLIPPIN BEAUTIFULLY...

 

Hey Shawn... I pulled the cable and mechanism from inside the car tonight... Along with the front bumper cover and both fenders

My car looks weird now. No hood... no front bumper and no fenders.

 

still waiting for my tax check but i will be over probably tonight (monday) or tomorrow to pick up that cable.. i need to get that latching assembly first though!

yes i want your front end.. and i need the latch pull down for the trunk also.. actually i need some bolts that hold it in place..

got some bad news man.. i put hood pins on it.. the locking kind..and for the second time they malfunctioned. so now i am going with the good ol' hood latch.. ah well 1st time shame on you 2nd time shame on me, i should've learned with my SS hood that Sebastian fixed..
