I just sold it this morning. I had it for a month and decided to sell it. I know it's an Fbody and it's got more power than a TPI, but it's just not the same as a 3rd gen. I couldn't hang my arm out the window w/o the weather strip digging into my arm as well as the higher door line. The dash and everything is bigger in the 4th gen. I miss the 4 gauge pods of the 3rd gens and looking out and seeing that long hood. So with that said, I'm on the hunt for another Thirdgen.
Just thought I would share.

Yeah, I know what you mean. 3rd Gens have a special, more primative personality that gets ya right around the kidney belt area! The design is more sleek and aggressive too.

BTW, I sent you a PM on the motor mounts, I'd still like to buy them.

Sorry, Ed. I threw them away a long time ago. I thought I still had them. I was wrong.

And I decided to keep the Formula for 1 reason only. My long time GF went crazy and moved out. Which forces me to live on my own.

But my truck is for sale if anyone is interested in a near mint, low mileage 1997 (88-98 generation) C/k Silverado on 22s.

Bigwhitegtp

I am selling my 1982 trans am. it has a L-98 with TBI, 5 speed, 373 disc rear. 5 speed was rebuilt about 3,000 miles ago. Car is black/gold with tan leather and in nice condition. Paint is in very good condition and car has no dents at all and absolutely no rust it has always been a california car. Nothing on the car is "ghetto like" just stock looking inside and out. Car was originally a LG-4/automatic

By saying TBI this is not a crossfire car, I did a complete 1990 electronics upgrade on the car is all. Shortblock is a 1990 corvette motor with 1989 083 f-body heads (for smog reasons) Transmision is a 1987 T-5 with new gear set and synchros and works perfectly have rebuild reciept it was done by a place called transmissions plus.

Everything but the A/C works on the car however every possible thing is there for it to work but needs seals and recharge. the system did blow cold when it was in the 90 firebird I bought.

Car also has functional "VATS", 140mph electronic cluster, power windows, tilt, cruise, intirmittant wipers, power steering with factory cooler, Air bag can be added easily, it is governed to right about 108mph, had a complete 1984 4 wheel disc brake upgrade. fuctional cowl induction, Hydraulic clutch, NO cooling issues, excellent weaterstripping (needs main door seals installed though but I have them) it does have the upper level interior with PMD seats. Car drives very nice but handling wise it sucks just a base 82 level suspension car. And the car IS NOT a T-Top.

I'm asking 3,500.00 for the car and will throw in a header system.

Car could use a custom ecm chip & 350 injectors but does run very strong the way it is & can be driven anywhere. Would be interested in a trade Like a 4 cylinder mustang LX or a minivan.

heres a picture of it.
