Hi everyone, I live in Austin TX. I just bought a project car, a 1988 IROC. I was told the car would run with a new battery, but it did not. I bought it anyway because the price was a steal, and the car has a 350 (legit). We were going to tow it home with my brothers truck and tow straps, but after about 2 miles we decided that was not a good idea at all (V6 truck with a crappy tow rating and no trailer). We parked it in a lot and received permission to leave it there until I can get it.

I don't like that idea but it is the best option at the moment. I am wondering if anyone in S.A. has some spare time and a truck and trailer and could tow the car here to Austin. Later this week I could pay you for your gas and and take you out to dinner, get a case or two of beer, whatever you like . Cash is kinda low at the moment, due to buying this car.

I could get the car myself next week, but leaving it there in a parking lot for a long time just isn't appealing.

Can ANYONE help?!
