Help no oil from push rods

I don't know what to do now.

I primed the motor tonight and only got oil up to 6 rockers and it wasn't but dribbles.

I'm using a Summit primer and a 1/2" drill. I hooked up the battery and got above 60 lbs pressure on the gauge.

I turned the motor over many times and primed every turn. After 20 minutes of this I got one other rocker arm to dribble some oil.

I checked all the push rods and they have oil in them but only at the bottem of the rods except for the 6 that spewed and 3 others but they didn't get the rocker wet. The rocker oil holes are all clear and the push rods are in the lifters properly (I can see the lifters with a flash ligh). So there isn't any blockage in the push rods or rockers.

Some of the lifters seem spongy and when primed they become solid, like they pump up and when I turn of the drill they go back to spongy. Others are rock solid the whole time. I'm letting the oil system drain down (I took a break) to see if any to the "rock solid" ones get spongy.

Need less to say it's not consistant. I've never had this kind of problem before. I've always seen oil spew from the lifters and in some cases they shoot over the fender.

This sucks
