Well, the truth... Today was my 1st time ever driving a 4th gen. haha hell Been around so many 3rd gens over the years just never got the chance. Well, My fiance's nephew was looking for a car right. he told me he wanted to get a Porsche one for like 4,000.. I told him why would you want to do that. Do you know how much performance parts are an can you do the work. I said check this out. let's go for a ride. Start the Red Roc up an head out back in the Woods of Irvine.. Took off an just sit there an watch him get kick back in the seats each gear.. After 60 seconds after we come to a stop he had changed his mine. A few days later we went an only found one 91 Z-28 5.7 for under 3,000 an be a true Z-28. Car ended up needing a lot of work an was missing an the engine was replaced. So I didn't like the idea. but I sat there an seen the car all cherry. So I told Felix my fiance's nephew the next day hey why don't you start calling on some cars for 5,800 or so. thinking maybe we could find a nice package car for a good price. He call me up an says hey I wanna go look at this Formula. I was like What!! What formula,, he says one with 340hp with exhaust an stuff. I told him hell go look at it. but tell the people you need to come back to bring a relative. Well he went an looked at the car an bought it the next day. he calls me up this morning to come check out the car. a 94 firebird formula 5.7 lt1 with a cross flow master with these nice huge tips. I took it out for a drive an I was amazed this thing was pretty fast for a near stocker... hehe I was thinking silent in my head hell im gonna sell my hoopty an get a lt1 an mod the hell out of it lol...but man this car felt like how fast the flamed Roc was but near faster. And compared to driving Red this was a rocket! I want that with my set up with the Super ram cam headers trans convertor injectors an chip..and all that other good stuff.. i just a 3rd gen can hold up. you know how noisy they can get from hp they like seem to fall apart on the insides unless Bilsteins are not a good enough strut an shock.. So other than that im interested in how well the 4th gen performs. There the ones going fast right now. I don't think I could drive a 4th gen like a iroc..
