Hey Jeff!

I raced a 2002 Z28 yesterday (not Gabes). My buddy at a local Chevy dealership brought home a new Z this weekend and we went at it twice. We said stop at 100mph to stay safe. (OK sounded good)
1st race he smoked the tires and I rolled into it and beat him by 2 car lengths at 90 and I shut down. Then we both did a rolling start at 10 MPH. I smoked the tires this time, back peddled and still caught and pulled past at around 90 MPH (wasn't looking cause I was gaining). I pretty sure I can take stock LS1's now. SO I got that going for me.

Hey Jeff! Was I ever pulling on you Saturday night? You passed after I missed third. CRAP!

Dwayne, wait until he breaks it in. :sillylol: If he just bought the car the weekend before you guys raced, it probably only had under 100 miles. These engines wake up after 3,000 miles. Once they hit 10,000 miles ... watch out Auto showroom stock LS1s have been known to dyno 312 rwhp (M6 can hit 320 after break-in).

Sorry George, the car had 12000+ miles. It was a manager demo.

I appreciate your sticking up for the LS1 and all but I'll take um all on now.

About my motor.

It's a 383 with a superram, AFR 190 heads and a "Hot Cam".

I'm still worried about breaking other parts or I'd be racing today at Fomosa.
