I wrapped up the door hinge replacement on my car tonight. They aren't kidding when they describe the door feel as Mercedes-like. I gave up on the tooling I was trying to make (after breaking it a few more times) and made a better one by modifying a 6" C-Clamp. I'm scheduling appointments. I'll have the equipment in place in roughly a week to take credit cards directly. Until then I can accept them via PayPal only. I recommend picking up a bottle of touch-up paint in the color of your car if that matters to you. Grinding the swaged head off the original hinge pins requires me to grind it flush to the hinge, meaning a little paint can get removed. The inner door panel has to be removed to access the hidden screw attaching the triangular filler piece of weatherstrip. I can take care of a few inner door rattles while I'm at it. Just recognize that it adds time and cost to the job. I stock NONE of the inner door hardware (window channels, electric window motors, locking solenoids, etc.). So if you know yours are bad, let me know ahead of time so I can order them. Operators are standing by...
