Thank you hometown...

I decided to keep the bosses for the idea of velocity as opposed to more air mass. Someday, if I supercharge/turbocharge it, then I'll go ahead and remove the boss and put a lump port. I did a homegrown port (the fella who has built my engine the past two builds looked at the porting and said I probably gained about 35 rear wheel horses. He also showed me where one has to port for optimum power.

The 250 twists a high torque cam but with a late closing on the intake overlap(?) giving it great power up top...it kicks into hyper champion round 3500 and runs super strong to it's limit which is 5500. Would like to go to a roller cam though...

It was just recently built. Only because when changing over to TBI I was attempting to remove the camshaft when I realized one of the cam bearings fused and abused me block man!!! Well, the block was junk, so a total rebuild was in order. I almost went 9:1 with a set of 307 pistons but decided to stay stock. Luckily for me, the pistons where not damaged. I just recently put in 2004R which is a whole lot better than the glide...

Did you catch the little flic. It's not much, just a shortflic on the sound of the motor.

Thanks again bro...

There ya go HOMETOWN!

It's a 3" inlet with a single 3" outlet three chamber Silverado muffler from FM. I used to run a 2 chamber dual outlet.

If you have quicktime it will play. It's at the bottom of the engine page. It takes a little while to load...I have DSL and it takes like 4 minutes. I just learned how to embed the movie. I hope to learn how to save it as another file.

Late.
