timing questions
ive got msd timing control and timing set at 8 with est bypass disconnected and a few questions:
-should u advance or retard timing in hot weather?
-is it true spark jumps from the 5 to 7 wires, if so should i even worry if i got the 8.5mm super conductors?
-when using octane booster should u advance/retard?
-Does code 32 start backing down the timing when u turn on the car or just when the ses light pops up?
-what does knock/pinging sound like?

Hot weather makes the car more prone to detonation, so retard the timing.
I suppose the spark could jump if you have weak wires and they're right next to each other, but I wouldnt worry about it.
If you're talking about the octane booster you pour in from a can, dont use it. It works, but it caused some problems in my engine.
I think the code would only affect the timing when the light is on, but I am not 100% sure.
Knock/ping sounds like marbles in a can when its really bad. You'll feel the loss of power before you'll hear it.

Unless there is high humidity, then advance it a few degrees
