help me!!!

i was getting onto the 5freeway at WOT and i was in 3rd gear(automtic trans 700r4) at around 95mph when all of a sudden my car throws me back into my seat. It almost felt like if i accidentally put the shifter in neutral. So i got off and then got back on and the same thing happened! Its like it wont go from 3-4 at WOT I have no idea whats going on. Pleeeease help

none of the trannys will shift at wot. do a search on the tranny board. this has been brought up a lot. there is ways to remedy the problem. being thrown into your seat is probably the tpi running out of rpms.

i know the trans wont shift at WOT. What used to happen is that the car stays in 3rd and the trans wont shift but the rpms keep climbing. But now the car throws me back into the seat!!Its a violent jolt. and the rpms drop. feels like the car loses all power.

sounds like a fuel pump, but i'd wait for one of the learned people on this board to reply.
