bare 350 block
o.k. it seems no one has a bare 350 block. does anyone know where i would get one? some of my firends told me to call the local machine shops and see if they have a good one laying around. others say hit the junk yard. however, im not sure what to look for in a junk yard block AND it was slready hell for me and leo037 to get it out in my clean garage with all the tools (except a compressor) handy. wouldn't it be hell to take a block out of a car in the junk yard?

sometimes junkyards have common engines like 350's already out of the car and layin on the ground. least ones ive been too do, and yeah it would kinda be a pain to take one out of a car in junkyard, but then again u wouldnt have to be gentle with things so ud have brute force on your side
or maybe for a prive they will pull it for u? i dunno, but like i said, usaully they are just lying on the ground.

leo, how good is the one you have? will it be ok with a 30 over bore and align hone? ill probably drive to your house in a week or so.
