The TA bug =(

I posted this on the General Engine board but I think you guys might be able to help out more. The problem started just recently. Here is what happens; when the car is cold or hasn't been driven long under normal operating temp it acts normal. It's when I have been driving around for awhile under normal operating temps that the car starts to act up. It happens while under light/medium constant throttle. The car will start bucking. It will start bucking lightly and the more you drive the worse it gets. If I give moderate throttle or more it acts normal but will buck when taken back to constant low to medium throttle. I am thinking its a miss. I went under the hood after it started up and gave some throttle in neutral. It sounds like the car has developed a miss but I can't pinpoint the cylinder. The cap and rotor are brand new and the none of the plug wires are burnt. The ignition module also checks out OK when tested. Rusty rode in the car when it started doing this so he knows what it feels like and how the car reacts. Any ideas guys? Would be nice to take the TA on long cruises without it bucking like a bronco

You need to get a scantool on it to see what its doing. We'll be at the shop all day and an hour or two after 5pm if you can come by.

Have you checked for a sticking EGR valve?

Is it doing it at idle ever, or only when you press the pedal down lightly?

The car has no EGR. Nothing is happening at idle. Just like I said under constant light to medium throttle. It also only starts up after the car has been driven for awhile under normal operating temperatures. Almost like something is overheating in the ignition or fuel system Kevin I might hit you up on your offer. I just have to find out when my next day off is so I can head out your way. You and your Dad are always very helpful. Luckily the TA is no longer the daily driver or this problem would have been really bad.
