Most of the guys in the club have their own cars. Not many selling. I would do a search of Auto Trader on the web. If you want something as specific as your post indicates, widen the search to include all of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and even Oregon & Washington. You might include Texsas as well. The main thing with out of state cars is to make sure the owner hasn't removed oem smog pieces and replaced them with non complying pieces. You may have to travel to pick up just the car you are looking for. There are a lot of 3rd Gens in So Cal, but the '92s are now 14 years old. Very few have been pampered.
Finding a nice clean one, is relatively easy compared with the "rust belt", but finding a clean one with the options you want in the color you want is more difficult. I have seen very few Yellow third gens anywhere. I don't think color alone makes a car rare or collectable, but specific rare colors are hard to find by nature.

hello,
I have a yellow 85 IROC. It needs work. I bought the car from a guy here in SoCal. I was driving around in a bad area and saw the car sitting on the street.
Call me at 951-314-5966 for specifics. In short, it is a 305tpi model with t-tops. It is a REAR WIPER car, very rare. It also has the performance rear-end. The car runs decent but it needs mostly bodywork (front nose, a hood, front driverside fender and door). The car has a reasonable large dent on the rear quarter panel but I think it can be fixed easily.
If you want a rare car, this is it. I've been toying with putting it on eBay but I'd rather sell it to someone that can appreciate it.
Thanks,
Colin
