Upper door hinge repair kits on sale...

I've opened up two Group Purchases for the upper hinge repair kits I sell. The GP's will run two weeks, until June 9th. I'll order the kits once the GP has closed. If you plan to repair your sagging doors in the near future, this is your opportunity to get the kits at a reduced price. Read about the contents of each kit under 200370 or 201370 in the Body and Interior section of Top-Down Solutions web site. Just be sure to order under part number 200370-GP or 201370-GP to get the special GP pricing.

I wish I'd known about this before. I made the mistake of buying a repair kit from another guy on the board who was selling them at the "low introductory price" of $127.00. The "low introductory price" has since gotten lower since I was probably one of the few that actually bought it.

Sounds good, Lon.

is it better to get the greasable kit? or does it really matter?

Stock GM hinges aren't greasable. You just spray the hinge bushings & pins with white lithium grease. The greasable hinge kit just gives you the option of squirting grease into the pin and bushing directly instead of wondering how much of the spray lube actually got in there. It is up to you to decide it that is worth the extra cost.

I forgot to mention this at the meeting. Just a reminder that the GP will end in a few days (June 9th). Order online through either of the two Group Purchases I've set up to be included.
