Don, according to one thread it takes MSD 2-3 weeks to fix the box when it fails. The answer is simple, always buy 2. When one fails, replace it with the new one and send the failed one in. Figure the $60.00 repair charge as a maintainance cost. Hopefully they will last long enough to get the one back from repair before the second one fails, if not you could buy 3 or 4 and be covered. Afterall they must be great, the magazines and T.V. shows wouldn't lie to us, would they?
