Therefore you can sometimes save by buying someone else's SFCs, there are usually some for sale on the Classifieds section of TGO. I would read up and decide which set you feel are right for you, I personnally like the Alstons and Hotchkis - though the Alstons will install regardless of body style - or I should say they make versions for each style. Then if you can save on the labor you can save on the total - I really wouldn't cut corners trying to go with only bolt in SFCs I would pay the extra money to have them welded in

Good point about bolt in sfc's, the bolts will wallow out the holes and create more problems than they will solve. Also check with Dyno Don. He made up his own sfc's with square section tubing that tuck up into the rocker panels. They make a great jacking point on the cars. I think the cost of Don's sfc's may be a little less, but you would have to p.m. him to find out what he would charge.
