someone to smog

Transmission: 4l60e
Axle/Gears: 12 bolt 3.42
someone to smog

i am not sure if dyno don can pass my car for smog, but my new red 90 iroc is due for smog but it only has a cat. There is no smog pump of airtubes underneath the hood. Can someone tell me where i can get this car to smog with a little extra cash! thanks,bryan

I see the air tube 'plugs' in the manifolds. Is the tube behind the engine gone? How about the one that runs to the cat? EGR there?

You don't have to pass smog to register your car. If the car is one you just bought from out of state or one you are just rebuilding, you can pay the registration and get a temporary operating sticker. If the car has been previously operated in California and needs a smog cert for registration, you can take evidence of a failed smog test to DMV or AAA (I reccomend AAA) and get a temproary operating permit. That will buy you the time to get what you need to get the needed peices to have the car pass smog.

well i gave up and put a whole new smog system on it and i can tell you it wasn't fun putting on the air tubes, what pitty!
