One way to get a free new starter.

As you all know... Sunbitz has been in the shop since June.

After a long search for parts.... she is almost done.
Hopefully by the end of January.

Well, the body shop called me on Friday saying... the car was running fine and then NOTHING!
Only after they replaced the starter did they decide to call me. They told me the car was running and starting just fine and them BAM!! nothing.... I said it was more than likely a fusible link or perhaps the gear selector switch since it was a vert and the top has been the whole time during the repair.

I went over to the shop on Friday to inspect a few things and told them I would have to check my books over the weekend.
I arrived on Monday at 8am when they opened and the car would not fire at all. I got my voltmeter out and started doing the check points.

My first attack was the gear selector switch.... no reading on the meter. Second step was the starter relay.
I pull the panel off on the drivers side to see it just dangling there. I plugged that puupy in and she fired right up!! Naturally having my Flowmaster on there I reved it a few times to let everyone know "it's ALIVE"

Several guys came out of the shop goiing HUH?
I went into the the boss saying... "fixed" in under 15 minutes! She's all yours now.
Turns out.... They replaced the drivers fender where the starter relay switch calls home. in doing so.... that switch got wiggled loose. and I got a free new starter.

Their bad... not mine.
