What are the odds...

I offered to give my friend a ride to Sacramento last weekend since it made for a good cruise and my car lay dormant a couple months. About 30 miles from my destination, my transmission goes out, AND my rear gears. I pulled over and could not figure out just which one went out, but after towing it back down for $400 it turned out to be both. I already planned on beefing up the gearing and transmission, but I wasn't ready for it just yet.

so I guess now i've gotta do my homework on which gears I want and which tranny. A buddy of mine was interested in this one, but I'm a bit iffy on it.

I have a 700R4 out of a 1992 RS for sale. It is out of Ken's car (Raiderken/cali92RS). It is 100% stock with under 70K miles on it. $260 and come pick it up and it is yours.
