Does anybody know?
Here is the situation, I bought a nice 1984 Trans Am V8 everything is in good condition the only things that are missing are the T-tops you see the car has the regular hardtop and I was thinking about the possibility of going to a body shop so they can cut it up and make way for the t-tops now my question is this does anybody know about a body shop that will do a good job at an affordable price in SoCa? Has anybody in here done it before? I really want my TA to have T-tops!!!!!!

Its a huge pain in the butt and its going to cost more than its worth.
But its your car, do what you want. I havent heard of any shops willing to attempt it.

Why would you wan't to do that? it did not come with the car from the factory, and the body will loose it's strength.
You are much better off to look for a t-top car in good condition to start with. There are shops that will do it, but they are not what you would call "body shops" unless you consider Boyd, Foose Design, etc body shops. Affordable? Yeah right!!!!

If you want it bad enough and are prepared for the costs, I would send it to Mark's. Even with transport I'm sure it would be cheaper than any local places, and your car won't be anyone's "experiment" that hasn't completed a task like this before.
A more sensible choice would be to stick with what you have, or for around the same price as the conversion you could buy a 2nd car with T-Tops.
