Oceanside Ecology...

hey there... i was at Ecology in Oceanside off of the 76... today was 50% off of interior... wasnt much for f-bodies there...

1984 Z28... Power hatch release, power windows, power locks. non t-top. I removed the headliner and visors... interior is black/grey... exterior black... good fenders and gfx... rims weren't there... tail lamps not worth anything... z-28 hood had some rust at the louver area... Intake and valve covers are gone... rest of the bottom end and heads are there...

1986 white Camaro... didnt really look too much at this... interior was trashed... and body wasnt worth much... non gfx style car... pretty sure it was a base V6 model... right brake lense was nice (non-grid style)...

4th gen maroon firebird there... pretty much complete (minus the rims) from what i saw and good paint on fenders and doors...

that's it for F-bodies in that yard... just letting people know whats there...

I used to go to that one while back, but I started to notice there is only couple 3rd gens and they stay in the yard for about a month or so. I hardly ever stop over there anymore. now a days I go to the one in Chula Vista; they got more verities of 3rd gen

Re: Oceanside Ecology...

I'd love to find a closer junkyard... living in Fallbrook kinda sucks with the junkyard situation... plus I visit them after visiting my girl in Vista... so its right there... if you know any junkyards closer to me than Chula Vista, let me know... =P

Re: Oceanside Ecology...

Chula Vista is your best bet. There's an Ecology and a Pick a Part on the same road (Nirvana), then if you drive about a mile over to Heritage Road there's another Ecology. The Pick a Part alone is worth your drive depending of course on what you need. Even if you spend 15-20 bucks in gas.
