Re: 91Z on craigslist
There are more 305's in thirdgens than there are 350's. That doesnt exactly make them rare, but they're not plentiful.
Re: 91Z on craigslist
well I would have to say there kinda rare only 12% of all camaro's were Z28s
take away LB9s Z28 and you are around "6% L98" ( thats a guess not a qoute) that puts 6000 L98 on the road in 91 now separate that number by every chevy dealership in 91 and i'm pretty sure the l98 wasn't a just pick your color car it was more like this is the only one on the lot but there is 20 RS' for u to choose from. I also belive there is a reason why a good number of people have L98 engines in their car but there 8th digit in their vin is not 8, if they were plentyful people wouldn't buy an RS or 305 z28 if they wanted a 350 with one exception people who wanted stick shift. personally I remeber being 16 and wanting a 350 camaro but finding a million RS for sale few 305 z28 and like two 350 L98 which were both overpriced and I was determined not to get spanked by mustangs cause every one knew a stock 305 gets crushed by a stock 302. I even recall slauthering all the rice rockets one saturday night and they was surprised cause they figured all thridgen camaros was slow cause everybody they raced had a RS'. As hard as it was for me to find mine 9 years ago I would say it is rare if I was to sell it today. Especially since mine is burgandy and I have only seen three 91/92 Z28 on the road the same color. So as a fellow factory L98 owner my votes for Rare.

Re: 91Z on craigslist
I have been searching for 91-92 Camaros on Craiglist all over the western US and have seen some really nice ones and some real beaters and everything in between. Quite a few 305 5 speed RS's and Z/28s. Some good deals and some really bad deals. And some of the sellers details???? Some people just aren't right!! LOL

I paid 2800 for my L98 Formy with only 85k miles. That Z with 160k doesn't sound like much of a deal unless it's totally immaculate.
