JY Report

I just got back from the Pick A Part in San Bernardino. They had between 8 and 10 third gens in there that were reasonably not picked over. Most were camaro's but there was about 3 firebirds. All the TPI and 5 speeds were gone. There were two cars that had their complete V6's with fuel injection intact. One of the firebirds still had it's 10 bolt with iron calipers. The whole rear end was totally unmolested. Most of the rest of the rears were there as well, but were drum brakes. Most of the cars still have the front seats and rear seats (Filthy dirty though) and most of the interior and dash. There were a couple fourth gens there as well. One of the camaro's (A 99) still had it's complete disk brake rear end in place. Another had the rear end in place but was missing the brakes and the axles were lying on the ground. Good selection of fenders, front and rear bumper covers and hoods in good condition. There was a couple sets of aero side ground effects, but no aero front valances. There was also a 305 with the complete crossfire fuel injection in place. I didn't bring any tools with me today as I had never been there before and was just on a recon mission. I'll be going back tomorrow with some tools to pull some parts.

I'll be going to the one on 434 E 6th St. in San Bernardino. I was going to try and get there around when they opened, so around 10 - 10:30am. I'm free all day so if that doesn't work for you let me know and I'll see if we can meet up.

Re: JY Report

I believe they had a couple of the non aero front valences. I know one of them had some damage but not sure about the other one.
I'll take a look today and let you know for sure.

Re: JY Report

Thanks for the heads up on the 99. I got the master cylinder off it. I parked right in front of you in the white F250.

I didn't see any that were undamaged. I only saw one that was undamaged and I think it was the 82 - 84 style that had the vents along the bottom front.

Sure n/p. You must have gotten in and out before I came out. I don't remember anything parked in front of me. Did you get the MC off the black 99?

The black one was gone, I got the one from the white vert that still had the rear end in it. I was going to grab the booster but it had to much blood on the seat, floor and air bag for me.

Some would consider that a bio-hazard.

Re: JY Report

They make them drain the fluids, but leave the blood, that makes sense - not.
